Library Rules and Regulations:

1. Library membership is available on a payment of Rs. 500/- for one year, and Rs.250 for half year (i.e. valid from date to date )
2. A service charge of Rs. 25/- will be payable in advance for availing of the library facility for a single day for those who are not member of the library.
3. Right to admission to the library is at the sole discretion of the management of the library.
4. As it is reference library, no books or literature shall be checked out/ is sued.
5. Always keep your Library Card with you.
6. The library is open from 11.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m., Monday to Friday (on all stock exchange holidays library will be closed)
7. Library shall be closed for lunch from 1.00 p.m. to 2.00 p.m.
8. Action will be taken against those who are violating the rules.
9. While entering the library, visitors will have to show their Identity Card.
10. Any damage of property, books and articles etc. will be dealt with strictly. Violators will be prosecuted for the loss, damage, etc.
11. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the library.
12. Visitors are requested to maintain silence in the library premises.

How to Become a Member:

1. Collect the membership form from the desk.
2. Submit the form duly filled in along with a cheque of Rs. 500 made in favour of ‘The Stock Exchange Education and Research Services’
3. Submit two passport size photographs.
4. On the Identity Card being issued fill in all the required particulars, attach the photograph, get it stamped and signed by the librarian.
5. In case the card is lost, apply for a duplicate card, cost of which will be Rs. 60/-. Duplicate card will be issued only once.
6. Membership applications will not be accepted during the lunch break, and after 4.30 p.m.
