Mr.Sushil Kedia - President of ATMA, a Mumbai-based independent technical analyst and investment advisor, has become the first Asian to be nominated to the board of Market Technicians Association (MTA), a global association of technical analysts.

He would be occupying a chair on MTA's board previously held by experts such as Ralph Acampora, John Brooks and John Bollinger, renowned for the Bollinger band theory widely used by traders. "Sushil's name has been presented by our nominating committee to fill one of the three vacant board positions; the incoming member's three year term will start from July this year," said Tim Licitra, marketing director, MTA.
