Understanding How Your Cognitive Biases Affect Your Investment Decisions:
How investors think about trading and why every trader is different. Understanding who you are as a trader will improve your effectiveness. For example, not all traders will be able to trade the Elliott Wave Theory or short-term swing trading because they are not wired to think that way while others will be very successful at it.
Understanding Global Macro and Technical Analysis:
Understanding the concept of beta for individual equities and how to asses risks that are not company specific. These days stocks are moving up and down based on systemic risks and have virtually nothing to do with the more traditional value or growth investment approaches. Building portfolios using relative strength, cycles, seasonality in an uncertain economic backdrop.
